Fun Checkered Shatter Nail Tutorial

1.) Started with china glaze First & Last

 

2.) Pick however many different colors you want. I think that 4 works best

(from left to right: Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!, Sally Hansen No Hard Feelings, Sally Hansen Snappy Sorbet, China Glaze Shocking Pink Neon)

 

3.) Start making the checkered boxes... it doesn't need to be perfect because the shatter will go over the top! (also wait until the end to clean up around the nail edges :] )

 

4.) I used ONYX Professional quick dry to speed up the drying process

5.) I used OPI Black Shatter to go over my nails when they were completely dry & i tried Sally Hansen Fractured Foil Crackle on my pinky finger but it didnt turn out as good as the black

 

 

 6.) Lastly I finished with China Glaze First & Last

It also looks really cute on toes too ;]
